The Foundation will provide:
Grants to artists on an annual basis, including scholarships to student artists, grants to professional artists, grants to museums, art institutions, or performing arts organizations for guest artist programs. A series of publications that focus on art history, art business practices, art law, art marketing, and similar topics to help standardize business practices in the art industry. Annual roundtable events where art professionals can discuss business practices, industry concerns, ethical standards, and other timely topics of interest as they arise. The results of these annual meetings will be published and distributed to interested organizations and individuals. An annual awards program through which organizations and/or individuals will be honored with the art industry equivalent of the Academy Award, acknowledging those individuals and organizations that represent excellence in the business of art. The Academy of Fine Art Foundation welcomes new members who will be awarded with certificates, paintings or sculpture and receive invitations to Foundation events throughout the year. Founding donors will be permanently placed on our roster and on all public installations commissioned by the Foundation. |
